Soholm Pottery Olive Green Danish Table Lamp 3076 Vintage 1960s Retro Khaki Light
COMING SOON - AVAILABLE NOW FOR PRE-ORDER
This is part of a new collection of stock that will be available at the end of September.
Because it hasn’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.
Medium sized Soholm Pottery Danish Ceramic 1960s Table Lamp
Features a glossy olive green glaze with shimmering amber and green highlights in a striped design. Halfway down the lamp is a textured relief design.
Designed by Arne Finne and Noomi Backhausen. Signed ‘AN’.
Handmade in Denmark by Soholm Pottery on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s.
Has manufacturer’s details, artists initials and model number etched on its base.
Very good full working vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.
It is 27cm high including the original lampholder and 16cm wide at its base.
It will be rewired with vintage style braided cable. We can fit a British/Irish, European, Australian/NZ or American plug.
It takes an E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included).
* If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb.
If you would like to buy a lampshade to accompany your lamp we recommend the wonderful handmade lampshades utilising vintage fabrics by Dawn Witty - you can find her designs here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/WittyDawnUK
Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected. But unless otherwise stated there will be no chips or similar damage. There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the device the image is viewed through.
Handmade items may have slight imperfections, such as air bubbles in glass, which add to their uniqueness and charm.
