Soholm Pottery Olive Green Danish Ceramic Table Lamp 3076 Striped 1960s 1970s Khaki Vintage Retro
Soholm Pottery Olive Green Danish Ceramic 1960s/70s Table Lamp
This is part of a new collection of stock. Because it hasn’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.
Large studio pottery lamp in a very 1970s colour and design.
Features a glossy olive green glaze with a textured relief design.
Model number 1211, designed by Arne Finne and has his mark on its base.
Handmade in Denmark by Soholm Pottery on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s.
Very good full working vintage condition with only very minor signs of age. Has a small area of missing glaze to its neck that seems to be a manufacturing imperfection (photo 7).
It is 29cm high including the original lampholder and 14cm wide at its widest part.
It will be rewired with vintage style braided cable. We can fit a British/Irish, European, Australian/NZ or American plug.
It takes an E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included).
* If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb.
If you would like to buy a lampshade to accompany your lamp we recommend the wonderful handmade lampshades utilising vintage fabrics by Dawn Witty - you can find her designs here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/WittyDawnUK
Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected. But unless otherwise stated there will be no chips or similar damage.
There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the device the image is viewed through.
Handmade items may have slight imperfections, such as air bubbles in glass, which add to their uniqueness and charm.
