Soholm Pottery Green Grey Danish Ceramic Table Lamp 1015
Vintage Danish Pottery Ceramic Table Lamp.
Medium sized green grey studio pottery table lamp.
Handmade by a Soholm in Denmark in the 1960s/70s.
Satin greenish grey glaze with textured relief design.
Model 1015, designed by Einar Johansen.
Made by Soholm Pottery on the Baltic island of Bornholm, Denmark in the 1960s/70s.
26cm high, including the lamp holder (which will be cleaned up or replaced), and 14cm wide at the base.
Excellent vintage fully working condition.
Because this lamp hasn’t been rewired yet you have the opportunity to choose the cable colour from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, old gold and burnt orange.
It will be rewired with vintage style Italian braided cable, and a new switch (if applicable), retaining the original Bakelite lamp holder if practicable or replacing if not.
We can fit a British/Irish, European, Australian/NZ or American* plug.
It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included).
* If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb.
Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected. There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the device the image is viewed through. Handmade items may have slight imperfections, such as air bubbles in glass, which add to their uniqueness and charm.
