Soholm Pottery Danish Petrol Blue Ceramic Table Lamp 1970s
Vintage Soholm Danish Pottery Ceramic Table Lamp. Your chance to grab a vintage bargain due to tiny hairline cracks to the base.
Small petrol blue (grey blue with a green tinge) studio pottery table lamp.
Glossy petrol blue glaze with lighter blue highlights on the textured relief design.
Probably designed by Einar Johansen as all the similar designs are attributed to him.
Made by Soholm Pottery on the Baltic island of Bornholm, Denmark in the 1960s/70s.
Good fully working vintage condition. It has 2 hairline cracks on the base (see photos) which cannot be seen when its in use but because of this we have heavily reduced the price.
We are confident that the lamp is still structurally sound and provide a 1 year guarantee for it (as long as its not dropped!)
21cm high, including the lamp holder, and 9cm wide at its base.
It has been rewired with vintage look dark blue braided cable using a vintage Danish Bakelite lamp holder and switch.
It is fitted with a British plug.
It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). In the photos is a vintage style LED Filament G95 ‘Radio Spiral’ lightbulb (not included).
If you would like to buy a lampshade to accompany your lamp we recommend the wonderful handmade lampshades utilising vintage fabrics by Dawn Witty - you can find her designs here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/WittyDawnUK
Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected. There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the device the image is viewed through. Handmade items may have slight imperfections, such as air bubbles in glass, which add to their uniqueness and charm.
