Soholm Pottery Blue Danish Ceramic Table Lamp Einar Johansen 1960s 1970s
Soholm Pottery Blue Danish Ceramic Table Lamp.
Unusual medium sized lamp, handmade in Denmark in the 1960s/70s.
Features a glossy glaze of various shades of blue with warm brown highlights.
The lower half features an unusual hexagonal shape.
Designed by Einar Johansen and made in Denmark on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s.
Has its manufacturer’s details, designer's initials and model number on its base.
It is 26cm high including the original white lamp holder, and 12cm wide at its base.
Rewired. Excellent full working vintage condition.
It will be rewired with vintage style braided fabric cable and a new switch, retaining its original lamp holder.
We can fit a British/Irish, European*, Aus/NZ plug or American** plug.
It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). In the photos is a vintage style LED Filament G95 'Radio Spiral' lightbulb (not included).
** If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Full details of lampshades can be found under FAQs.

Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected. But unless otherwise stated there will be no chips or similar damage.
