Small blue ceramic table lamp, handmade in Denmark in the 1960s/70s

Features a glossy greenish blue glaze and a textured relief pattern in a signature Soholm design.

Model number 1202,, designed by Einar Johansen.

Has its designer's mark and model number on its base.

Handmade in Denmark by Soholm Stentoj (Pottery) on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s.

20cm high including the lamp holder and 12cm wide at its widest part.

Very good vintage condition with some minor signs of age, and some variance in the glaze in the neck which is probably a manufacturing imperfection.

Because it hasn’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.

It will be rewired with vintage style braided fabric cable.

We can fit a British/Irish, European*, Aus/NZ plug or American** plug.

It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included).

** If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Full details of lampshades can be found under FAQs.
