Small/medium oval shaped blue handmade lamp.

Features a beautiful glossy dark blue glaze with a textured relief design, featuring lighter blue and amber highlights.

Has a satin glazed espresso brown neck.

Model number 1036, designed by Einar Johansen.

Part of the Blu Granit Series, inspired by the rugged and beautiful Scandinavian landscape.

Handmade in Denmark by Soholm on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s.

Has manufacturer's details, designer mark, and model number etched on its base.

24cm high including the original lamp holder. The oval base is 12cm by 10cm wide.

Excellent fully working vintage condition.

Because it hasn’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.

Will be rewired with vintage style braided fabric cable, retaining the original lamp holder.

We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ or US/Canadian* plug.

It takes an E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). In the photos is a vintage style LED Filament G95 'Radio Spiral' lightbulb (not included).

* If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb.
