Soholm Pottery Danish Ceramic Table Lamp 1960s/70s
Medium-sized hand made lamp, this is a rare Soholm design.
Has a glossy nutty brown glaze with mottled amber and shimmering blue highlights.
Features an attractive geometric relief design with beautiful highlights that vary with the light.
The neck has a satin biscuit finish.
Made in Bornholm, Denmark by Soholm in the 1960s/70s.
Has manufacturer’s details and designer's marked imprinted on its base.
22cm high including the lampholder and 10cm wide at the base.
Excellet vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.
The price includes re-wiring with high quality, Italian-made fabric cable and a new plug, replacing old, worn fittings if required. You have the opportunity to choose the cable colour from a choice of black, white, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.
___________________________________________________________
It will be rewired with vintage style braided cable, retaining the original lamp holder if practicable. If you buy more than one lamp we will ensure they are rewired with matching fittings.
We can fit a British/Irish, European*, Aus/NZ plug or American** plug.
It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included).
** If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Full details of lampshades can be found under FAQs.

Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected. But unless otherwise stated there will be no chips or similar damage.
Handmade items may have slight manufacturing imperfections from the handmade process such as air bubbles in glass and glazing imperfections in ceramics, which add to their uniqueness and charm.
There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the screen the image is viewed on.
