Royal Copenhagen Tenera Ceramic Dish Fajance Pottery Dish

This is the small 11cm / 4.3" dish which could be used as a small soap dish or trinket/ring dish as well as for serving dips etc.

Absolutely beautiful hand painted, glossy glazed purple and blue design.

Designed by Nils Thorsson and Marianne Johnson for Royal Copenhagen.

Part of Royal Copenhagen's popular Tenera Range, featuring hand-painted designs by Scandinavian women.

The Tenera range was designed by Nils Thorsson from 1958 in colloboration with a group of female artists and designers.

It is fully back stamped with its manufacturer name, model number, designer's stamp, and painter's initials.

The back stamp indicates it was made in the period 1974-78.

11cm wide and approximately 2cm deep.

In excellent vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.
