Royal Copenhagen Danish Table Lamp 1970s
Large, rare and attractive and fajence porcelain Danish lamp.
Features a white satin glazed and very slightly textured hand painted flower design in black, purple, orange and blue.
Designed by Ivan Weiss for Royal Copenhagen.
Handmade in Denmark in the period 1975-79
Has its manufacturer’s details, designer's mark and model number etched on its base.
30cm high including the original white lamp holder and 16cm wide at the base.
Excellent fully working vintage condition.
Because it hasn’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold
_________________________________________________
It will be rewired with vintage style braided fabric cable and a new switch (if necessary), retaining its original lamp holder where practicable.
We can fit a British/Irish, European*, Aus/NZ plug or American** plug.
It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). In the photos is a vintage style LED Filament G95 'Radio Spiral' lightbulb (not included).
** If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Full details of lampshades can be found under FAQs.

Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected. But unless otherwise stated there will be no chips or similar damage.
There may also be slight differences in colour depending on the device the product is viewed on.
