Royal Copenhagen Baca Yellow Ceramic Dish - this is the 17cm medium size dish
Striking hand painted modernist design featuring birds.
Satin yellow and black glaze with a slightly rippled textured surface.
Designed by Joanne Gerber and Nils Thorsson for Royal Copenhagen.
Part of Royal Copenhagen's popular hand painted Baca range of Fajance Pottery.
Baca was produced from 1964 by Nils Thorsson, in colloboration with a group of female designers.
Hand made and painted in Denmark in the period 1969-74
It is fully back stamped with its manufacturer details, model number 787 and Gerber’s mark. (2883 is the model number of the 17cm square dish)
17cm wide and 3.5cm deep.
In excellent vintage condition with no chips and only very minor signs of age.
