Vintage Riihimaki Finnish Hooped Blue Glass Vase

This is a particularly fine example of this vase with a deep, intense colour.

Rare and very beautiful deep steel (grey) blue colourway.

This is a luscious, tactile vase with a real high quality feel about it. It is our personal favourite Riihimaki vase.

Model number 1472. Designed by Tamara Aladin.

Handmade in Finland by Riihimaki in the period 1965-1975.

20cm tall and 9.5cm wide.

A beautifully weighty, solid vase.

Excellent vintage condition with no chips and only very minor signs of age.

Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected.

Handmade items may have slight imperfections, such as air bubbles in glass, which add to their uniqueness and charm.

There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the device the image is viewed through.
