Poole Pottery Helios Table Lamp Teal Turquoise Blue Bedside Ceramic Vintage Retro English British Design
Poole Pottery Helios Ceramic Table Lamp Bedside Vintage Blue Green 1960s.
This vintage lamp features a pleasing glazed textured relief pattern in a beautiful shade of teal / turquoise.
Designed by Robert Jefferson in 1964.
Studio pottery handmade by Poole Pottery on the south coast of England in the 1960s/70s.
19cm high including the original Bakelite lamp holder. 10cm wide.
Excellent full working vintage condition with no chips and only very minor signs of age. Has a couple of small manufacturing imperfections.
Rewired with a dark blue vintage style braided fabric cable that beautifully complements the ceramic base.
We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ or North American* plug.
Takes a B22 lightbulb maximum 60w (not included) but we will provide an E26/E27 adapter (free) if you choose the European or American region options. The lightbulb in the photos is a vintage-look LED Filament G95 ‘radio spiral’.
*If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. This lamp will take a European/UK type & size lampshade with a UNO style ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or 1 inch (2.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb.
If you would like to buy a lampshade to accompany your lamp we recommend the wonderful handmade lampshades utilising vintage fabrics by Dawn Witty - you can find her designs here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/WittyDawnUK
Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected. But unless otherwise stated there will be no chips or similar damage. There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the device the image is viewed through. Handmade items may have slight imperfections, such as air bubbles in glass, which add to their uniqueness and charm.
