Vintage Palshus Pottery Danish Ceramic Table Lamp
Small, elegant table lamp in a stylish muted very Scandinavian shade of blue-grey
Rare Palshus lamp designed by Per Linnemann-Schmidt.
Has a glossy, lightly textured light stone coloured neck.
Features a beautiful greyish blue glaze on the lower part.
Handmade by Palshus in Copenhagen, Denmark in the 1950s/60s.
Has its designer’s details and country of origin on its base.
It is 18cm high including the lampholder and 9.5cm wide at its base.
Excellent full working vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.
Palshus Ceramics Studio closed in 1972 and has since become highly sought after by collectors worldwide.
The price includes re-wiring with high quality, Italian-made fabric cable and a new plug, replacing old, worn fittings if required. You have the opportunity to choose the cable colour from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.
The last photo shows it with other items, available for separate purchase.

Will be rewired with high quality Italian vintage style braided fabric cable. If you buy two lamps we will ensure they have matching fittings.
We can fit a British/Irish, European*, Aus/NZ plug or American** plug.
It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included).
** If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Full details of lampshades can be found under FAQs.

Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected.
But unless otherwise stated there will be no chips or similar damage. There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the device the image is viewed through.
Handmade items may have slight imperfections, such as air bubbles in glass, which add to their uniqueness and charm.
