Pair of Soholm Pottery Olive Green Danish Ceramic Table Lamps 1970s Khaki 972
A Pair of Soholm Pottery Danish Ceramic 1970s Table Lamps
Stylish pair of rare olive green Danish lamps from the 1970s.
Medium sized lamps featuring a glossy olive green glaze.
Handmade in Denmark by Soholm Pottery on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1970s.
Have manufacturer’s details, artists initials and model number etched on their bases.
28cm high including the lamp holders (which will be cleaned up or replaced) and 10cm wide at the base.
Very good full working vintage condition with no chips and only very minor signs of age including some light crazing.
Because they haven’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.
They will be rewired with Italian-made vintage style braided cable and a new switch. The original lamp holder will either be cleaned up or replaced.
We can fit British/Irish, European, Australian/NZ or American plugs.
They take E27 lightbulbs, maximum 60w (not included).
* If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb.
Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected. But unless otherwise stated there will be no chips or similar damage.
There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the device the image is viewed through.
Handmade items may have slight imperfections, such as air bubbles in glass, which add to their uniqueness and charm.
