Vintage Silver Ball Industrial Spotlights Ceiling Wall Lamps. Price is for 2 lamps.

Authentic, original industrial British spotlights from the 1970s/80s.

These are a rare and high quality item that was designed to be used in commercial settings.

Can be used on a wall or ceiling. The ball tilts direction by 180 degrees.

Designed to be hard wired into the mains electrical system and operated via a wall-mounted light switch.

The ball is made of satin-brushed, silver-coloured coated lightweight aluminium. The black arm and round fitting are made of steel.

Either side of the original ceramic lamp holder is a spring which would have held a filter when this was commercial lighting.

Made by British lighting company, Merchant Adventurers. Has a MA sticker inside and has 'Merchant Adventurers' imprinted in the round black fitting.

Made in the UK in the 1970s/80s.

Completely refurbished and rewired, retaining the original ceramic lamp holder.

Good full working vintage condition with some minor signs of age including small scratches, scuffs and dents to the silver coloured finish.

Approximately 18cm wide at its widest point. The light is 20cm high including the black fitting. The silver ball is 14cm high.

Full refurbished and rewired.

Designed to be hard wired into the mains electrical system and operated via a wall-mounted light switch.

May be a little fiddly to fix the round black fitting to the surface but is doable with a little patience. I have included four 20mm spacers to protect the cabling on the back. You will need to buy your own screws and raw plugs, suitable for the surface they're being attached to, max 5mm wide by 50-60mm long. Note the first 20mm doesn't need to be threaded through the spacers.

They take E27 light bulbs, maximum 60w (not included). We have used a vintage-look LED filament G95 Radio Spiral bulbs in the photos. Because the housing is metal, and incandescent bulbs can get very hot, we recommend using LED/energy saving light bulbs, maximum 7w.

* If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using energy saving/LED light bulbs. E26 bulbs should fit although because they are 1mm smaller you may need to completely turn the bulb to ensure it makes contact with the fitting.

Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected. There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the device the image is viewed through.
