This style became very popular in the early 20th century and, in addition to the traditional Chinese-made vases, there was some production in Japan\/Europe and vases adapted to lamps.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis lamp features a bright floral design in rich shades of blue with gold highlights. This turquoise colour is particularly authentic for this style.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMade of metal - the lamp base is believed to be copper and the fittings are brass - with a wood base. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFully rewired and refurbished with high quality, European-made fittings. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eProbably made in China or possibly Japan, Italy or the UK in the period 1920s to 1960s.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eApproximately 43cm tall including the lampholder and 15cm wide.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eExcellent vintage condition with only minor signs of age.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe lightbulb and lampshade are not included.\u003cbr\u003e____________________________________________\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCompletely rewired and refurbished with c2m of Italian-made braided cable in antique brass colour.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFitted with a new British-made brass lamp holder, new switch on the cable and a UK plug.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis lamp has a mechanism to raise the lampholder by turning the brass knob.
