Soholm Pottery Danish Blue Ceramic Table Lamp
Large ceramic table lamp, handmade in Denmark in the 1960s/70s
This large, rare lamp has a particularly beautiful shimmering glaze.
Features a stunning, glossy mid blue glaze, mottled with iridescent lighter blue and bronze highlights.
Has an attractive scalloped design.
Model number 1051, designed by Einar Johansen.
Handmade in Denmark by Soholm Stentoj (Pottery) on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s.
Has manufacturer’s details, designer’s mark, and model number etched on its base.
35cm high including the lampholder and 15cm wide at its base.
Excellent vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.
Because this lamp hasn’t been rewired yet you have the opportunity to choose the cable colour from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, old gold and burnt orange.
The last photo shows it with other lamps available for separate purchase.
___________________________________________________________
It will be rewired with vintage style Italian braided cable. If you buy more than one lamp we will ensure they are rewired with matching fittings.
We can fit a British/Irish, European*, Aus/NZ plug or American** plug.
It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included).
** If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Full details of lampshades can be found under FAQs.

Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected. But unless otherwise stated there will be no chips or similar damage.
