Large Danish Pendant Ceiling Lamp Light 1970s Scandinavian Scandi Design PH Style Multi Tiered
Large Danish Silver Pendant Lamp PH5 Style Ceiling Light 1970s 1980s
High quality and stylish, multi-tiered lamp inspired by Poul Henningsen's iconic PH5 design for Louis Poulsen.
Pendant lamps with multiple shades like this were designed to reduce lighting glare.
This style of pendant features widely in Scandinavian homes.
High quality lamp made of lacquered brushed aluminium, painted white on the inside.
Its elegant, timeless simplicity will work as task lighting hanging low over a dining table or breakfast counter top/bar and it has plenty of cable to allow this, but it could also be used as a high, central light source.
Made in Denmark by Frandsen Lighting in the 1970s/80s. Still has its original sticker
Approximately 48cm wide and 25cm high.
Excellent fully working vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.
Fully refurbished and rewired with 2m of new, vintage-look black fabric cable.
Has been completely taken apart and refurbished.
Comes without a cosmetic ceiling canopy/rose.
Takes a standard E27 light bulb. We recommend using a LED bulb as the metal housing can get very hot with an incandescent bulb.
* If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. A E26 light bulb should fit but because it is 1mm smaller will need to be fully turned to ensure it makes contact with the fitting.
Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected.
There may be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the device the image is viewed through.
