Kronjyden Pottery Quistgaard Relief Ceramic Teapot
Kronjyden Pottery Quistgaard Relief Ceramic Teapot and Milk/Cream Jug Set
Designed by Jens Harald Quistgaard in the 1960s.
Quistgaard's much-loved relief design was made at different points by Kronjyden, Nissen and Bing & Grondahl.
Oval shape. Mustard yellow/beige coloured matt glaze with a textured relief leaf pattern.
A classic of Mid Century Scandinavian design.
Made in Denmark in the 1960s/70s. The teapot was made by Kronjyden who were the first company to produce this design so it was probably made in the 1960s. The jug was made by Nissen.
The teapot measures approximately 20cm high with the handle up and 20cm wide to the tip of the spout. The milk/cream jug measures approximately 11cm high and 8cm wide.
Excellent vintage condition with only very minor signs of age. This is a matching set and any difference in colour is due to lighting.
