The modern classic Kivi candle holder was designed by Heikki Orvola in 1987.

Iittala was established in Southern Finland in 1881 and is still producing high quality glass in Finland today. All the greats of Finnish design have designed glass for Iittala at some point including Kaj Franck and Alvar Aalto.
