Vintage Holbaek Pottery Danish Table Lamp - very large 46cm / 18inches tall

Huge and very rare lamp is stunning, very mid century, shimmering light turquoise and olive green.

This is a very special lamp, we've never seen this design before.

Impressively large lamp- it's large enough to be used as a floor lamp.

Features a glossy subtly textured light blue-green glaze.

Has abstract stippled shimmering olive green highlights

Handmade in Denmark by Holbaek Pottery Studio in the 1960s/70s.

Has its manufacturer’s details, and designer's initials etched on its base.

It is 46cm high including the original lamp holder and 20cm wide at its widest part.

Excellent fully working vintage condition.

The price includes re-wiring with high quality, Italian-made fabric cable and a new plug, replacing old, worn fittings if required. You have the opportunity to choose the cable colour from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.

Will be rewired with high quality Italian vintage style braided fabric cable, retaining the original Bakelite lamp holder if practical. If you buy two lamps we will ensure they have matching fittings.

We can fit a British/Irish, European*, Aus/NZ plug or American** plug.

It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included). In the photos is a vintage style LED Filament G95 'Radio Spiral' lightbulb (not included).

** If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Full details of lampshades can be found under FAQs.
