Small Vintage Holmegaard Danish Glass Bud Vase

The design is called Hellas and this vase is part of the Akva range of blue-hued glass.

It has an attractive curved shape and a wonderful solidity to it that oozes quality.

Designed by Per Lütken in 1950 for Danish glass house Holmegaard.

Would make a wonderful present for any lover of Scandinavian and modernist designs.

Handmade in Denmark in 1960 as shown by date on its base.

Has its manufacturer’s name and designer’s initials etched on to its base.

Measures approximately 11cm high.

Very good vintage condition with a few scratches as highlighted in the photos.
