Vintage Holmegaard Danish Glass Wall Lamp Sconce

Superb quality vintage handmade glass wall lamp with a metal fitting.

Features a thick curved piece of lightly textured, frosted art glass.

Has an abstract design in strong shades of red, orange and brown - as they are handmade, the design of each lamp is slightly different.

Designed by Per Lutken for Holmegaard in 1972.

The design is called 'Glasplatte' (Glass Plaque).

Made by Holmegaard on the Danish island of Funen in the 1970s.

Excellent fully working vintage condition with no chips only minor signs of age. Please note the glass doesn not have any imperfections and the line seen is part of the design.

Approximately 25cm high, 23cm wide and projects 12cm from the wall.

Rewired with white plastic cable and a switch for convenience.

We can fit a UK/Irish, European, Australia/NZ or US*/Canadian* plug.

Takes an E14 light bulb, maximum 40w, not included.

If used in the US/100/110/120v we recommend using energy saving/LED light bulbs. E14 lightbulbs compatible with North American voltage should be available online or you can buy a E14>E12 adapter enabling you to use North American standard E12 (chandelier) light bulbs.
