Vintage Orange Glass Table Lamp 1960s 1970s

Medium glass lamp in a beautiful bright deep shade of orange.

‘UFO’ shaped lamp incorporates cool Atomic Era styling.

Similar styles were made by both Italian glass makers in the Empoli region and Holmegaard in Denmark.

Made in Denmark or Italy in the 1960s/70s.

Approximately 32cm high, including the lamp holder, and 17cm wide at its widest point.

Excellent fully working vintage condition.

Rewired with vintage style black braided cable with a new switch on the cable.

We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ or American* plug.

It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included), the light bulb in the photos is a vintage-look LED Filament G95 ‘radio spiral’.

*If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they need to be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring diameter of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb.
