Vintage Holmegaard Danish KIng Kluk Glass Decanter

Rare model as it has both the crown shaped stopper (hence being known as the 'King') and the silver collar.

The silver collar was made by Copenhagen silversmith E Dragsted and is imprinted with 'Sterling ED'.

Beautiful 'pinched' glass decanter - a wonderful gift for any whisky or brandy lover!

Known as the Kluk Kluk decanter (Glug Glug in English) because of the sound the liquid makes as it is poured out.

A Kluk Kluk decanter like this features in Star Trek because of its stunning shape.

Once a coloured liquid is poured into it you can truly appreciate its shape.

Handmade by Holmegaard in Denmark, probably in the 1950s/60s.

Approximately 24cm high and 10cm wide.

Very good vintage condition. The bottle is in excellent condition with no chips. The stopper is missing the tip of its crown. It is smooth not rough, and looks so fine as it is that we didn't actually notice until we compared it with one from our own collection!

Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected.

Handmade items may have slight imperfections, such as air bubbles in glass, which add to their uniqueness and charm.

There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the device the image is viewed through.
