Vintage Holmegaard Glass Danish Table Lamp.

Medium-sized unusual, rare and very beautiful powder blue glass lamp.

Features a marble like design in shimmering shades of silvery blue.

Troll (Trold in Danish) lamp, designed by Sidse Werner in 1975.

Handmade by Holmegaard in collaboration with Royal Copenhagen.

Made by Holmegaard on the Danish island of Funen between 1975 and 1984.

Approximately 26cm high, including the lamp holder, and 14cm wide.

Excellent fully working vintage condition. The brass fitting has some signs of age as shown in the photos.

Sidse Werner was a Danish architect and industrial designer, probably best known for her 1971 Coat Tree design for Fritz Hansen. She died in 1989.

We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ or North American* plug.

It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included).

*If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they need to be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring diameter of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. See FAQs for full details.

Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected.

There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the device the image is viewed through.
