Dantoft Denmark Iron Glass Candle Holder 1960s 1970s

Vintage iron and teal blue glass sculptural candle holder.

Striking Danish modernist design.

Designed so the flickering of the candle reflects in the pieces of glass.

Holds a pillar candle.

Made in Denmark by Dantoft Kunstartikler (art pieces) in the 1960s/70s.

Made of lacquered wrought iron with round teal blue chunks of beautiful architectural glass.

The glass is thought to be made by in Sweden by Lindshammer.

Approximately 15cm high by 20cm wide.

Very good vintage condition with some rust to the ironwork, mainly on the base, and some roughness to the glass which is probably from the manufacturing process. Both are highlighted in the photos and factored into the price.
