Dansk Designs Dolphin Paperweight.

It is in very good vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.

We believe that this paperweight was part of a later series than the Gunnar Cyren designed animals. They are far rarer so not much is known about this range.

We think it was probably made in China of nickel plated zinc in the 1990s.
___________________________________________________________________________

Dansk Designs was started in the 1950s by an American who toured Europe seeking out talented designers to produce a range of homewares he could sell to the US market. The range was designed to showcase Danish and Scandinavian design to an international audience and due to their wonderful combination of form and function Dansk Design items have become highly collectible including in their ‘home country’ of Denmark.

Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected. There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the device the image is viewed through.
