Danish Teak and Glass Wall Lamp Sconce
High quality vintage wall lamp from the 1950s/60s
The beautiful textured 'pineapple' glass provides a cosy diffused light.
Made of wood, textured clear glass and lacquered gold coloured metal.
Made in Denmark in the 1950s/60s by J Sommer. Retains its original manufacturer's sticker.
The glass used was probably made in Sweden.
Approximately 30cm long, 11cm projection and 6cm across. The glass shade is around 6cm wide internally (see note on light bulbs)
Very good fully working vintage condition with minor signs of age as shown in the photos.
___________________________________________
Fully refurbished including rewiring in line with modern electrical standards.
Designed to fitted to a wall socket (with the cable running up the wall) rather than hard-wired to the electrics.
We can fit a UK/Irish, European, Australia/NZ or US*/Canadian* plug.
Takes a E14 lightbulb, maximum 40w / 7w LED.
Because of the size of the glass shade, the bulb should be a narrow shape like a candle shape bulb or similar.
*If used in the US/100/110/120v we recommend using a energy saving/LED lightbulb. You can use a E14>E12 adapter or you should be able to buy E14 bulbs online.
