Vintage Sejer Pottery Danish Table Lamp
Large lamp with a beautiful and unusually coloured glaze.
This is a rare colour for a Danish lamp of its era - we have not seen any others the same.
Features a satin glaze in silvery grey blue.
Has a rustic textured base and an attractive geometic relief design around the neck.
Handmade in Denmark by Sejer Pottery Studio in the 1960s/70s.
Sejer Pottery was based on the Danish island of Funen in the period 1948-75, and we are told that he only made of each lamp so no two Sejer lamps are exactly the same.
Has its manufacturer’s details etched on its base.
It is 30cm high including the original lamp holder and 14cm wide at its widest part.
Excellent fully working vintage condition.
The price includes re-wiring with high quality, Italian-made fabric cable and a new plug, replacing old, worn fittings if required. You have the opportunity to choose the cable colour from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.
________________________________________________
Will be rewired with high quality Italian vintage style braided fabric cable, retaining the original Bakelite lamp holder if practical. If you buy two lamps we will ensure they have matching fittings.
We can fit a British/Irish, European*, Aus/NZ plug or American** plug.
It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included).
** If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Full details of lampshades can be found under FAQs.

Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected. But unless otherwise stated there will be no chips or similar damage.
There may also be slight differences in colour depending on the device the product is viewed on.
