Retro Scandinavian Orange Metal Wall Lamp Sconce

These versatile little lamps are very popular in Scandinavia as bedside lighting.

Attractive utilitarian design in particularly good condition.

Vintage rectangular metal wall lamp with a shiny bright orange finish.

The coloured front tilts to adjust the light and the on/off switch is on the cable.

Made in Denmark by Hamalux, in the 1970s/80s.

20cm long, 10cm high and 8cm wide.

Excellent fully working vintage condition with minor signs of age as shown in the photos.

Has been rewired.

We can fit a British/Irish, European, Aus/NZ, or American* plug.

It takes a E14 light bulb, maximum 40w (not included). The bulb needs to be long like a 'candle' shaped one. We recommend using LED bulbs as the metal can get very hot with incandescent bulbs.

*If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an LED bulb, maximum 7w. North American voltage compatible E14 bulbs should be available online. Alternatively, you can purchase a low cost E14>E12 adapter to enable it to take a North American standard E12 lightbulb.
