Vintage Danish Wall Mounted Candle Holder Sconce

Traditional Danish wall mounted ceramic candle holder.

A stylish, very attractive and rare piece.

Features a satin glaze in very mid century dark olive green with a mottled finish which is a traditional Danish style known as ‘haresfur’.

Has a stylish design in black and lighter acidic green.

Takes a pillar candle (not included).

Handmade in Denmark in the 1960s/70s.

We are uncertain who made these. Possibly made by Palshus as has what appears to be ‘Palshus Danmark’ painted on its back.

Approximately 25cm high, 24cm wide, and the candle holder part projects 12cm from the wall.

Solid and heavy item. Has a hanging hook on the back.

Very good vintage condition with only very minor signs of age and manufacturing imperfections, mainly a tiny area of loss of glaze as shown in the photos.
