Soholm Pottery Stentoj Danish Blue Amber Table Lamp 3001 Vintage 1960s Retro Scandinavian Light
Soholm Pottery Danish Ceramic Table Lamp
This is part of a new collection of stock. Because it hasn’t been rewired yet, you have the opportunity to choose the colour of vintage style braided cable you would like it to be rewired with from a choice of black, dark brown, dark blue, light blue, burnt orange and old gold.
This lamp is a particularly beautiful and quite rare design.
Large lamp with a beautiful shimmering glaze, handmade in Denmark in the 1960s/70s
Features a beautiful glossy warm caramel glaze with iridescent light blue and yellow highlights.
Has an attractive textured relief design on the lower half.
Model number 3001.
Handmade in Denmark by Soholm on the Baltic island of Bornholm in the 1960s/70s.
Has designer’s initials, manufacturer's details and model number etched on its base.
33cm high including the original Bakelite lamp holder. 12cm wide and 10cm deep.
Excellent fully working vintage condition.
It will be rewired with vintage style braided fabric cable retaining its original Bakelite lamp holder.
We can fit a British/Irish, European*, Aus/NZ plug or American** plug.
It takes a E27 lightbulb, maximum 60w (not included).
** If used in the USA/100/110/120v we recommend using an energy saving/LED bulb. E26 bulbs should work but because they are 1mm smaller they should be fully turned to ensure they make contact with the fitting. This lamp will take a European type/size lampshade with a ring of 1.5 inches (3.6cm) or alternatively a lampshade that sits on the light bulb. Full details of lampshades can be found under FAQs.
If you would like to buy a lampshade to accompany your lamp we recommend the wonderful handmade lampshades utilising vintage fabrics by Dawn Witty - you can find her designs here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/WittyDawnUK
Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected. But unless otherwise stated there will be no chips or similar damage.
