Cathrine Holm Enamel Blue Lotus Tea Kettle 1960s.

Designed and made in Norway in the 1960s in the Cathrine Holm factory in Southern Norway, which closed in 1971.

Beautiful mid blue colour enamel.

The pot shape was designed by Norwegian enamelist Grete Prytz Kittelsen. Although the Lotus design is often also credited to Kittelsen, it is now thought that the Lotus pattern may have been designed by Arne Clausen.

Approximately 19cm high with the handle raised and 22cm wide from spout to handle.

Good vintage condition with some signs of age, mainly rust as shown in the photos, including the inside of the lid.
