Bing & Grondahl Grey Cordial Quistgaard Relief Ceramic Teapot
Bing & Grondahl Cordial Quistgaard Relief Ceramic Teapot
This stylish, high quality teapot is a classic of Mid Century Scandinavian design.
Designed by renowned Danish designer Jens Harald Quistgaard in the 1960s.
Porcelain teapot with a wicker covered metal handle.
Matt light grey glaze with a textured relief leaf pattern.
Made in Denmark in the 1970s.
Quistgaard's much-loved relief design ceramics were made at different points by Kronjyden, Nissen and from 1972 until production ended by Bing & Grondahl.
The teapot measures approximately 20cm high with the handle up and 20cm wide to the tip of the spout.
Excellent vintage condition with only very minor signs of age.
Bing and Grondahl began producing porcelain in Copenhagen in 1853 and continued until the company was acquired by, and merged with, Royal Copenhagen in 1987.
Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected.
There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the device the image is viewed through.
Handmade items may have slight imperfections which make them unique.
