Repair of Vintage Louis Poulsen AJ  Desk Lamp

Work carried out on lamp as follows:

• New lampholder (supplied by customer) fitted
• The lamp was part rewired from the lampholder to the base using new cable.
• During rewire the existing on/off switch failed (the plastic housing crumbled due to age) so had to be replaced. I found a new black switch as a replacement. Had to customise slightly to make it fit. 
• Plug rewired as wires were loose.
• New felt base fitted.
• Lamp cleaned up although not all marks inside the shade could be removed.
• Please note: there was a long screw supplied with the lamp that was not required.
