Deep cobalt blue colour.

Designed by Otto Brauer in 1962 for Kastrup Holmegaard in Denmark.

Probably handmade in Denmark in the 1960s.

Measures approximately 30cm (12") high, 9cm wide at the rim and 12cm wide at the base.

Excellent near mint vintage condition. Has no chips and just only very minor signs of age.
________________________________________________________

Designed in 1962 by Otto Brauer based on a 1958 design by Per Lutken.

The 'Floorvase' is probably Holmegaard's most famous product, and an icon of Mid Century Modern design.

The Gulvvase was made in 5 sizes, the smallest was 25cm (10").

Note that we have attempted to show and state the condition as accurately as possible but this is a pre-loved, vintage item and some minor signs of age and/or use are to be expected.

There may also be slight variations in the colours shown due to lighting, the camera lens and the device the image is viewed through.

Handmade items may have slight imperfections, such as air bubbles in glass, which add to their uniqueness and charm.
